Rueben Wood interviews Pharaoh Reigns in new epidsode of SOM Talk Live. Atlanta’s rising Pop and EDM star, Pharaoh has quickly become the artist to watch in 2016. Pharaoh’s music bares familiarity to a few billboard classic hits. His music is a unique blend and mixture, reminiscent of Nelly, Chris Brown and T-Pain. Pharaoh’s unique organic sound is comprised of EDM and Electro Urban Pop.
Instead of trying to fit into the boxes created by the music industry, the vocalist and phenomenal dancer has curated his own category and is shining beautifully in his authenticity.
Since beginning the chase of his musical dreams in 2004, Pharaoh has performed at the Apollo and been a contestant on American Idol and Making of the Band. Since then Pharaoh has worked diligently across the country performing to elevate his presence, touch the community and give fans a reason to simply feel good about themselves and life—which is rare to find these days. Inspired by his idol, Michael Jackson, Pharaoh wants to continue in the positive precedence set by the king of pop. “The music I create is inspiring for all ages. It has a feel-good positive vibe that keeps fans moving on their, feet. It’s fun and energetic somewhat similar to Will Smith,” explained Pharaoh.
